Leadership

Bill directs ETC’s system development and ongoing research. Over the past 40 years he has conducted extensive research into the nature of futures price action and risk management. He has developed numerous technical trading systems applying ETC’s unique portfolio theory and evolutionary computing algorithms. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from DePaul University and a M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
An industry veteran, Rob has traded and developed futures trading systems for over 30 years. He joined ETC in 2016 and has since overseen upgrades to IT infrastructure, order management efficiencies, and the implementation of a global marketing effort. Rob received his B.S. from DePaul University and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.

Research

Vartan is responsible for overseeing systems programming and assists William Eckhardt with ongoing research and system design. He received a BS in Computer Science and in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1976. He has worked with Mr. Eckhardt for 30 years.
Stan conducts trading systems research and programming and leads ETC’s machine learning efforts. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University. He has worked for ETC for over 10 years.

Operations

Scott has traded futures for over 20 years. He joined Eckhardt in 2004 and oversees the trading desk and execution staff. He received his BA in Economics from Wittenberg University in 1992.
Ben joined Eckhardt in 2007 and oversees business operations and client relations. He received his BA from The University of Chicago in 2000.
Antonella joined Eckhardt in 2000. She oversees compliance. She received a BA from Loyola University in 1995.
Ray has traded futures for over 20 years. He joined Eckhardt in 1997 and oversees UCITS operations and trading compliance. He received his BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois in 1992 and his M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago in 2003.
